The New York State Chapter of CMAA supports 3 colleges offering hospitality management programs: Niagara University, Buffalo State College & SUNY Delhi. Niagara University & Buffalo State College both have CMAA Student Chapters.
The Niagara University Student Chapter of CMAA was once again recognized as the best in the nation by winning the distinguished CMAA Student Chapter of the Year Award for 2018. Dating back to 2008, this is the TENTH consecutive year that NU CMAA has received this prestigious award. Strongly supported by the New York State Chapter and the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Niagara University, the student chapter continues to excel in education and professional development, and is a leader in placing students in internships and management positions upon graduation with the leading clubs in the nation. At the core of the Buffalo State Hospitality and Tourism Department's mission statement is the development of proven hospitality professionals through distinctive educational experiences, including membership or leadership in student organizations, internships, scholarships and awards for academic and professional achievements, and department-supported activities.
All NYS CMAA members are invited to attend Buffalo State’s Student Fundraiser and support conference education experiences for our students and help stamp out food insecurity at Buffalo State. Bring a canned good for the Milligan’s Food Pantry. Proceeds from ticket sales go to student conference registration.
